It's Pretty well known for bald eaglestand other wildlife but Anyway , I grew up in new hartford connecticut on the farmington river directly above satan's kingdom , gorge And it was pretty rare, but a couple winters. Maybe 5 years ago, we had relatively frequent sightings of golden eagles right behind my house. There's a pond that's fed by the Farmington river and it doesn't freeze. most years anymore, at least. I also encounter them in Unionvale - ridges and pheasants!
