BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER in CT (in April!)

This morning I took a couple hours to head to Rentschler Field in East Hartford to see the BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER found by Paul Cianfaglione on the 28th. This is a true mega...the first spring record for CT as far as I can tell. Extremely rare in New England in spring (they are uncommon in early fall, almost exclusively juveniles).
